While we are primarily developers of land, we do offer log cabins in western North Carolina. The cabins we have constructed for us are always a great value, and part of our marketing program.

The builders we use start with random length logs, and custom build a 1,280-1,320 square foot cabin, with either one level, or two levels (stairs and loft inside). We’ll ask him to build it on an acre or two, and when the exterior is complete, we advertise it.

We intentionally do not finish the interior of many cabins. We don’t have any idea how many bedrooms you want, or what kind of kitchen cabinets and countertops you want. Plus this way, not only do you get to decide the floorplan and all the finishes, we get to keep the price low. People to come see our beautiful community in Rutherford County, and someone picks up a sweet deal on a cabin, while others pick up sweet deals on the property of their dreams. Simple.

Our cabins are custom built by local contractors, using 6x8 kiln dried eastern white pine “D” logs. Each cabin features double pane glass, 30-year shingles, porches, and decks. If you are ready to build, we are happy to recommend these craftsmen, and they will build a cabin “shell” for you, or a completely finished home. Of course, you can always choose any builder you want for your property, and there is no time frame to start building or to finish your cabin.
